Lazio still have ambitions of securing a top four finish as they host Parma in a Monday night Italian Serie A fixture.
The capital club have done well in the league lately, claiming some key results in the last few weeks. The visitors are struggling to find some momentum lately and given their poor record on the road, a home win is expected here.

After crashing out of the UEFA Europa League, Lazio have no more European distractions and can turn their attention to the top four race in Serie A. They head into the weekend just one point off fourth-placed Bologna and claimed a 2-0 victory at Genoa in their previous fixture.
That result is part of a solid run of form for Lazio, who are unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 Serie A matches. Marco Baroni’s team have earned a few big wins in that run like the 1-0 victory at Atalanta and the 2-1 triumph at AC Milan.
Lazio have shown some defensive solidity lately, keeping clean sheets in two of their last three matches. That defensive discipline has taken nothing from their attacking quality, with Valentin Castellanos scoring in the last two matches, to take his tally to 10 Serie A goals this season.
Parma Form
Parma will travel to the Stadio Olimpico on a high note after claiming a 1-0 victory over Juventus last time out in Serie A, with Mateo Pellegrino's first half effort the difference. That result eased some of the relegation pressure as they now sit six points above the bottom three.
Manager Cristian Chivu will be keen to open up a bigger gap on the drop zone and will look to use that result as a springboard. However, that was only the first win in the last seven matches for Parma, who have been a bit unconvincing lately.
Another problem for Parma ahead of their trip to the capital is their poor away record, picking up just one win on the road all season. They also tend to show a lack of cutting edge in attack on their travels and have failed to score in six of their last nine away matches.

Parma claimed a 3-1 home victory in the reverse fixture back in August. However, Lazio had claimed 11 straight victories prior to that result and have also won the last eight home meetings, a run stretching back to 2012.
