Emma Navarro has had to really fight her way into the quarter-finals of the Australian Open after being taken to a deciding set in each of her opening four matches.

While she has continually displayed her ability to stay alive in a match before exacting the win, she cannot afford to let the top players go ahead in a big match. Indeed, a player like Iga Swiatek will not look back if she takes a 1-0 lead in this one.

At 23, Navarro is a player that will only continue to improve, but she comes up against an opponent who has already won five Slams at the same age. When on her game, Swiatek is far too good for most, Navarro included.

Swiatek has had issues in the past at major Slams, with the star often struggling to deal with the pressure of being one of the favourites. However, she looks completely at home right now, and I cannot see anything other than a resounding win for Swiatek.
