Fresh from securing a place in the FA Cup semi-final, Manchester City turn their attention to English Premier League action and a midweek fixture against struggling Leicester City.
The visitors have struggled to put together any kind of form this season and should be no match for the reigning champions. The hosts are expected to claim a comfortable victory with Omar Marmoush likely to maintain his scoring run.

It has been a disappointing campaign for City but there is still a chance of lifting a trophy after reaching the FA Cup semi-final over the weekend. They fought back from behind to earn a 2-1 victory at Bournemouth, with Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush getting the goals.

Pep Guardiola’s team are unbeaten in five of their last six Premier League matches at the Etihad, with a 4-0 victory over Newcastle United and a 4-1 thrashing of West Ham among their results.
Leicester City Form
Things are looking increasingly bleak for Leicester City, who remain second from bottom in the table. The Foxes are quickly being cut adrift of the rest of the league and are now 17 points from safety.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s appointment has brought little improvement at the King Power Stadium, with Leicester City losing 13 of their last 14 Premier League matches. They have failed to score in the last six in that run and were beaten 3-0 at home by Manchester United in their previous fixture.
Leicester have also found things difficult on their travels, losing eight of their last nine Premier League away matches. They have suffered some heavy defeats in that run, falling 4-0 to Newcastle United and Everton.
Head to Head
Manchester City are often too strong for Leicester City and have won six of the last seven matches. The Citizens claimed a 2-0 away victory in the reverse fixture back in December, with Haaland among the goals.
Verdict
Manchester City are often superior to Leicester City and with six wins in their last seven meetings, will be confident of coming out on top here. The Citizens have picked up a few one-sided home victories lately, while also scoring in both halves, and could be set for a similar outcome.
