Girona Form
Girona are a long way away from last season’s campaign where they qualified for the UEFA Champions League. They are currently in the bottom half of the table and head into this clash winless in nine of their last 10 matches across all competitions.
It is not all doom and gloom for Girona, who may have something to build on having drawn their last three La Liga matches. They were held to a 1-1 scoreline by Valencia prior to the international break, with Cristhian Stuani netting a second half equaliser.
A poor record on the road has been one of the major problems for Girona this season and they are winless in their last five away matches across all competitions. Michel Sanchez's team have been beaten four times in that run, with a 3-0 defeat at Athletic Bilbao among their results.

Barcelona have been the dominant force in this fixture and are unbeaten in five of the last seven matches against Girona. The Catalans eased to a 4-1 away victory in the reverse fixture back in September.

Barcelona have been untouchable lately, dominating teams and scoring multiple goals. They have claimed several one-sided wins lately and given the 4-1 victory in the reverse fixture, could be set for another comfortable victory.
