VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 21, 2025, a week after VCT 2025: China Stage 1.

The event will run for just south of two months and conclude with the grand finals on May 4, when the top two teams will battle it out for the glory of representing the Americas region.

VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 Format

Unlike the Kickoff event, the VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 will shift to a two-stage format, with a group stage and playoffs.

The event will begin with two single-round-robin groups of six teams, where all games will be best-of-three (BO3). The top four teams from each group will advance, competing for a favourable seed in the knockout stage.

Group stage winners will receive a direct bye to the upper bracket semifinals, and the 3rd-4th-placed teams will advance to upper bracket round 1.

Fourth-placed teams start from lower bracket round 1, while the bottom two squads from each group get eliminated.

The knockout stage will use a double-elimination bracket; the grand and lower bracket finals will be played as best-of-five (BO5). All other games are best-of-three (BO3)
