With little on the line for this match, it would be easy to make a case for the underdogs, assuming Oh My God and Ultra Prime do not take the series seriously. However, that is a bad excuse for fading Oh My God, who have looked better so far this season.

They threw away two sizeable leads in their 2-3 loss to JD Gaming, which is not inspiring, but unlike Ultra Prime, Oh My God at least showed some fight in their losses and should be priced as bigger favourites.

Ultra Prime already fell against Weibo Gaming (1-3) and JD Gaming (0-3), and are thus guaranteed to end the group stage inside the bottom two, with no chance of qualifying for the playoffs.

This team was not good last year and things have not changed this year either, despite all the roster changes. In their defence, Ultra Prime had to play two strong teams in JDG and WBG, so there is a world where they perform better against Oh My God.

This, however, might depend entirely on which version of Oh My God we will get on Wednesday.

Oh My God Form

Oh My God started the 2025 League of Legends season with a 0-3 loss against Weibo Gaming, but they looked much better in LPL 2025 Split 1 Week 3, when OMG forced JD Gaming to five maps.

They took the first map despite throwing a sizeable lead, got stomped on map two, looked very dominant on map three; but again threw a big lead before closing it out. Despite leading 2-1, OMG failed to capitalise on the momentum and lost the series 2-3.

Seeing OMG take two maps off JD Gaming looks impressive, but it is hard to ignore the fact that they threw away big leads, for which they should get punished more.

Ultra Prime v Oh My God

Oh My God took two maps off JD Gaming in Week 3 of LPL 2025 Split 1 for which they deserve respect. But at the same time they threw away massive leads in the two maps they won, which is not too inspiring.

The current meta is more forgiving to teams who are not efficient in closing out games, purely because of the momentum the teams can get with Baron and Atakhan. This also introduces more volatility, which should help the underdogs, but I have not seen enough from Ultra Prime to take their side.
