Top Esports vs Ninjas in Pyjamas Predictions
Top Esports will face off against Ninjas in Pyjamas on Monday, February 24, in the lower bracket of League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2025 Split 1 Playoffs, which should be an entertaining affair between two squads who have made major roster changes.

Top Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas are two teams coming into the series with similar performances against similar-quality teams. NiP lost their last match against Anyone’s Legend 2-3, whereas TES bested Invictus Gaming 3-1, although considering AL are a better team than IG, I would weight the two results similarly.
NiP did slightly better in the group stage, which bumps them up a bit more, and even though Top Esports looked better in their recent outing compared to their group stage showings, I would not consider them big favourites.
- Clash of two teams of similar calibre
- There’s no clear favourite
- NiP should not be priced as major underdogs
Head to Head
Top Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas have yet to meet this season.
Top Esports Form
Like many top LPL contenders, Top Esports made quite a few roster changes, building a stacked team with star names. On paper, TES looked excellent, but it did not seem like that from the get-go. They had a few rough showings in the group stage, indicating that this roster needs more time to gel.
Despite some hiccups, Top Esports delivered in the first game of the playoffs, beating Invictus Gaming 3-1, showing improvement compared to the previous series. They’re not quite there yet, though.
Top Esports Squad & Team News
No roster changes for Top Esports.
- Bai "369" Jia-Hao - top lane
- Seo "Kanavi" Jin-hyeok - jungle
- Lin "Creme" Jian - mid lane
- Yu "JackeyLove" Wen-Bo - ADC
- Liu "Crisp" Qing-Song - support
Ninjas in Pyjamas Form
Ninjas in Pyjamas built one of the most stacked rosters in the LPL, and they’ve not looked too bad so far. Not great either.
NiP ended the group stage with an impressive 9-1 map record and a perfect 3-0 record in series won, which includes victories against Invictus Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and Royal Never Give Up. Unfortunately, they failed to keep the streak going and lost to Anyone’s Legend (2-3) in a very competitive game this Saturday.
It was more Anyone’s Legends playing better than NiP not doing well, so I would not put too much weight on that loss. This is still an elite team with experienced players and the tools to compete for top spots.
Ninjas in Pyjamas Squad & Team News
Ninjas in Pyjamas have not announced any roster changes.
- Deng "shanji" Zi-Jian - top lane
- Mao "Aki" An - jungle
- Kim "Doinb" Tae-sang - mid lane
- Hu "Leave" Hong-Chao - ADC
- Guo "ppgod" Peng - support
Verdict
Top Esports are billed as favourites for this match, but there is very little to support that. TES, like Ninjas in Pyjamas field a very capable roster, but as shown so far, neither team have yet to reach their peak.
TES did play their best game so far in the previous round against Invictus Gaming, yet you can not rule out Ninjas in Pyjamas either, as they’ve shown good things throughout the group stage and in their loss to Anyone’s Legend.
This will be a much closer game than what the markets suggest.
