Team Falcons have been very volatile, and while they did reach the finals of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, the eye test proves they’re not quite there yet.

The lack of consistency is an issue and a good enough reason to fade Team Falcons even when paired with an inferior team.

The Huns Esports are the weakest Counter-Strike 2 team attending BLAST Open Spring 2025, and so far, they’ve yet to prove otherwise. In their defence, Huns had a very tough match in the opening round, where they faced off against the current no.1 team in the world, Team Spirit, and lost in two maps.

On a more positive note, Huns took eight rounds off Spirit on Anubis (8-13), but were far less impressive on Dust II (4-13). Admittedly, any team can win maps on Anubis on the T-side, but for Huns to do it against Spirit, you have to show them some respect.

The element of surprise, as an unknown team for all top-rated squads at BLAST Open Spring 2025, definitely helped The Huns last round, and it could help them on Friday.

Team Falcons Form

Team Falcons lost their opening match of BLAST Open Spring 2025 against MOUZ (0-2), with 11-13 on Train and 10-13 on Ancient. It was not a bad display from the Falcons, but once more, they proved unable to win against a tough opponent.

Earlier this month, the Falcons also attended ESL Pro League Season 21, where they placed ninth-11th with losses against MOUZ, 3DMAX, and Eternal Fire. Prior to that, however, they made the finals of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025.

The theme with the Falcons this season has been inconsistency. They’ll play well one day, only to disappoint the next, and that’s not a quality you want to see in betting favourites.

The Huns Esports v Team Falcons

The question for this match is not so much which of the two teams is better, but rather, can Team Falcons perform as well as expected and defeat what is objectively an inferior team. However, even though this is a match between the second-tier team and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 finalists, I do not trust the Falcons and their consistency.

I’m taking a stab at The Huns Esports to take a map, which, as optimistic as it may sound, is the right call at the offered betting odds. In-play bet on Huns with a round handicap if Anubis is played is another bet worth considering.
