Team Falcons recently showed quite a resurgence. After very rough displays at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 and Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025, they made the finals of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 with wins against Astralis, MOUZ, Eternal Fire, and FaZe Clan.

At ESL Pro League Season 21, Team Falcons have not managed to look as dominant, as they’ve managed a rather underwhelming 2-2 record in Stage 2. That run includes losses to MOUZ and 3DMAX, and two map-three wins against Team Liquid and FURIA, who Falcons bested in the previous round.

The most recent outing was not too inspiring, as the Falcons needed a reverse sweep to defeat FURIA, who could’ve easily won 2-0. The Falcons won that series with 16-14 on Mirage and 13-9 on Dust II after dropping Train (13-16).

Eternal Fire fought their way to the fifth round of ESL Pro League Season 21 Stage 2 with wins against MIBR (2-0) and paiN Gaming (2-0), but were far less successful agianst 3DMAX (0-2) and Team Liduid (0-2).

This is not the most inspiring record as EF have only managed to defeat MIBR, who are not particularly strong and paiN Gaming, who have been struggling. On the other side, they looked toothless against two decent squads.

Results like that do not inspire much confidence that Eternal Fire can do well against Team Falcons, or at the very least, they likely will not do as well as the latest esports betting odds suggest.

Eternal Fire are priced as favourites for this match, but there is very little to support that. They’ve not been performing well during the group stage and have only found success against two weak teams.

The same can be said for Team Falcons, who have not produced anything too inspiring, and their narrow victory against FURIA is slightly concerning. Despite their shaky results, this is still a quality team that should not be underestimated.
