There are some questions about how the Falcons' new lineup will gel and how long it will take for them to find the needed stability to perform. But by acquiring the former HEROIC core, the Falcons have some continuity, which should help them get their wheels spinning early.

ENCE enter the 2025 season with a point to prove. They were fairly mediocre in 2024 but they have also had their moments. In June, they placed top four at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Summer 2024 and, in October, won Elisa Masters Espoo 2024.

Between the two notable tournament runs, ENCE posted highly disappointing results, which does not inspire much confidence that they'll perform much better in 2025.

On a more positive note, ENCE have consistently played well against tougher opponents, so they should be viewed as a team with upset potential.

After failing to break into the group of elite Counter-Strike 2 teams with several roster iterations, Team Falcons rebuilt again, signing the former ENCE core and former G2 Esports superstar Nikola "NiKo" Kovač.

On paper, this ia a great team, which should sit in the top 10 on the global rankings, but anything beyond that seems unlikely. This lineup looks very similar to HEROIC in 2024, meaning they will be good but not great and until proven otherwise, that's where Team Falcons belong.

Verdict

Team Falcons v ENCE

This is Team Falcons' game to lose, but I don't believe a victory will come that easy. While the talent is there, ENCE are not that weak either.

Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and his crew were consistently competitive when faced with other top-10 ranked teams last season, and they even bested HEROIC twice in October.

Falcons are slightly better than 2024 HEROIC, but that is not a good enough reason to take their side at the offered betting odds.

ENCE to win a map at 1.65 is an obvious choice in my book.
