The Vegas Falcons are winless two stages into the season, and they have not shown any signs of improvement lately. They are up against OpTic, who have not looked even remotely good since the most recent roster change, but this roster is still talented and experienced enough to have faith in OpTic and their chances to bounce back.

OpTic Texas looked completely lost last weekend when they lost to Minnesota and Carolina Royal Ravens. Prior to that, they dropped a game against Atlanta FaZe (0-3), which is not as concerning but not a promising sign either.

Having yet to win a map this split, OpTic might be nearing another roster change. However, despite their struggles, it is hard to be overly pessimistic about this roster, which has enough talent and experience to do well.

Depending on how OpTic do in Minor 2 we might see some roster changes, but at the very least, OpTic have a very easy game ahead of them, which could help OpTic gain some momentum.

Vegas Falcons have yet to win a series this season, and they’ve yet to force a map-five. They are in a very rough spot, and while there’s still plenty of the season to play out, it is unlikely for the Falcons to achieve anything.

Last week, they lost to Minnesota and Cloud9 New York without winning a map, and while the Falcons took a map off LA Thieves and Boston Breach in the first week of CDL 2025 Stage 2 Major Qualifiers, that minor success proves nothing.

At this point, the Falcons should start considering starting to build for the next season and spend the next five months working on a foundation for the 2026 CDL season.

Vegas Falcons are by far the weakest team in the CDL and a complete lost cause. This roster was not built to accomplish anything in the 2025 CDL season, and the Falcons have not proven anyone wrong.

OpTic Texas have had their struggles recently, when they looked like a shadow of their former selves. Despite all that, OpTic should find some traction sooner rather than later, and this match is a perfect opportunity for them to get things rolling.
