Natus Vincere vs The MongolZ Predictions
Natus Vincere and The MongolZ will clash on Friday, March 14, in the first round of ESL Pro League Season 21 playoffs, in a rematch from Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025, when NaVi won with a clean sweep.

The rematch is expected to end the same way, as Natus Vincere enter the match as firm favourites to defeat the Mongolian outfit and take one step closer to their first S-Tier tournament title since IEM Rio 2024. While NaVi have shown higher highs this season, that should not be indicative of how this series will end.
The MonglZ might've slipped in their recent meeting with NaVi, but they are a solid squad with enough firepower to do damage against any team, including Natus Vincere.
- Natus Vincere are expected to win
- The MongolZ lost their last meeting with NaVi
- NaVI are rightly priced as favourites, but they're not invincible
Head to Head
Natus Vincere last met with The MongolZ during Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 when they won 2-0.
Natus Vincere 2-0 The MongolZ – February 4, 2025
Natus Vincere Form
Natus Vincere have had a solid start to the season, with two semifinal runs at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 and Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025, and they kept their momentum going at ESL Pro League Season 21, with a 3-1 run through Stage 2.
While NaVi managed to reach the playoffs, they dropped a series against SAW (1-2) and did not look all too convincing against TYLOO (2-1) either. On a more positive note, Natus Vincere performed much cleaner in their recent two outings against paiN Gaming and G2 Esports, beating both 2-0.
If the last two outings are any indication, Natus Vincere seem to have found their form, and pose a serious threat to win ESL Pro League Season 21. However, they first have to make it past The MongolZ, who are always a threat.
Natus Vincere Squad & Team News
Natus Vincere have not announced any roster changes.

- Justinas "jL" Lekavičius

The MongolZ Form
The MongolZ have managed a 9-4 record since the start of the year, and they've not looked too shabby in ESL Pro League Season 21, with wins against GamerLegion (2-0), G2 Esports (2-1) and 3DMAX (2-0). Their only loss came against one of the main tournament favourites, Team Spirit (0-2).
The MongolZ seem to be in great shape and their wins against 3DMAX and G2 Esports are proof enough that MongolZ can perform against more formidable opponents. The question is, however, whether MongolZ are ready to take on the surging Natus Vincere, whom they've never beaten before.

Verdict
The main question here is which version of Natus Vincere we're going to get. While they seem to have found more traction in the recent two outings in ESL Pro League Season 21 Stage 2, NaVi did not perform well in the first two games of the tournament.
The MongolZ, on the other side, have been fairly consistent with their recent games, even going back to PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 and Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025. So, even though MongolZ likely will not be able to take down NaVi if they perform at 100%, I can see them taking one map.
