Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 have been playing poorly since the start of the season, and while they tried to fix their issues by bringing in Lunarz, the Guerrillas have failed to show any improvement since, which makes it hard to believe that they will do well on Friday.

I have my doubts about Miami Heretics, who have overperformed in CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major. But they’re still a more consistent and better team than Los Angeles Guerrillas M8. That should show on Friday.

Losing against FaZe and RØKKR should not be too concerning as those are very solid CoD esports teams, but it does prove that Miami Heretics do not belong among the elite few CDL squads. It also proves my suspicion that the Heretics overperformed in the first Major.

Regardless of the fact that Miami Heretics are, in my eyes, nothing more than a middle-of-the-table team, they are much more stable than the Guerrillas, who are trending in the wrong direction.
