JD Gaming and Anyone’s Legend are fresh off solid performances in which they showed many of the same qualities to problem solve and fight back from losing positions. Both teams also field very experienced and elite-level players, although you could argue that Anyone’s Legend have looked a bit more stable this season.

This looks like a match between two evenly matched teams and it should be priced accordingly. JD Gaming arguably can reach higher highs, but they have yet to show anything remarkable.

JD Gaming looked were in a position to lose, but they managed to turn things around, which is both frustrating for Invictus Gaming fans and quite promising. JDG have proven to be excellent at problem solving and they can never really be counted out, even in games where they are behind.

This is not as surprising as JD Gaming field very experienced and elite-level players, but this is still a new roster which has some things to iron out and avoid getting themselves in weird game states. They are a very resilient team with the potential to become one of the world’s best by the end of the season.

Anyone’s Legend won against Ninjas in Pyjamas in the first round of LPL 2025 Split 1 Playoffs 3-2. It was a very competitive game which could’ve easily ended in Ninjas in Pyjamas’ favour, however, it is hard to deny that AL were the better team on the day - even though only slightly.

AL proved more stable and did not get crushed as much in their losses as Ninjas in Pyjamas, so much like JD Gaming, Anyone’s Legend showed the ability to problem solve and fight back from losing positions.

While Anyone’s Legend still have a lot to prove, the same applies to most LPL teams who have made significant roster changes.

It is hard to pick a favourite in this match. JD Gaming indeed have a more stacked roster and arguably a higher ceiling, but they’ve hardly looked any better than Anyone’s Legend so far this season.

I would not be surprised if JD Gaming turn it up a notch and crush Anyone’s Legend, but I’m not passing on AL at 2.38.
