Invictus Gaming 2025 Roster
On Sunday, December 8, Invictus Gaming revealed their 2025 League of Legends esports roster and clear intentions of becoming a competitive team in the next season.
As revealed, Invictus Gaming's 2025 lineup will feature some of the top talents from the region, including top laner Kang "TheShy" Seung-lok, jungler Zhao "JieJie" Li-Jie, mid laner Song "Rookie" Eui-jin, ADC Chen "GALA" Wei, and support Tian "Meiko" Ye.
Jungler JieJie joins Invictus Gaming after spending his entire career with EDward Gaming.
The 23-year-old made his debut in March 2019 with the EDG Youth roster and was shortly after promoted to the main LoL Pro League (LPL) lineup, serving as EDG's jungler for nearly five years.
Over that time, JieJie won the LPL 2021 Summer Playoffs and, later that season claimed the LoL World Championship 2021 trophy. Since then, however, he has not accomplished as much and reached a new low in 2024, when EDward Gaming ended their season with a fifth-place finish in LPL 2024 Summer lower group.
Joining JieJie is the returning mid laner and 2019 world champion Rookie, who played for Invictus Gaming between 2014 and 2021 before serving short stings with Victory Five, Top Esports, and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Rookie will reunite with TheShy, who is set to return to the competitive League of Legends after a one-year break. The legendary top laner was last seen competing with Weibo Gaming but is mostly known for his four-year-long stint with Invictus Gaming between 2017 and 2021.
Rounding up Invictus Gaming's lineup is a new bottom lane duo, ADC GALA and support Meiko.
GALA joins Invictus Gaming after a one-year stay with LNG Esports, with who he achieved limited success and ended the 2024 season with a quarterfinal exit from the LoL World Championship 2024.
Support Meiko will reunite with JieJie, with who he led EDward Gaming to the LoL World Championship title in 2021.
Since leaving EDG in 2023, Meiko has spent one year with Top Esports, with who he did not win a single trophy but still left his mark with runner-up finishes in the LPL 2024 Spring and the Esports World Cup 2024.
Invictus Gaming's new LoL esports roster features four former world champions, including TheShy and Rookie, who led IG to the Summoner's Cup in 2018 and JieJie and Meiko, who accomplished the same feat with EDward Gaming three years later.
GALA is the only player on IG's new lineup without a world championship title. But he has other accomplishments, including two LPL titles and two Mid-Season Invitational trophies.
