On Monday, HEROIC issued an update about their Counter-Strike 2 roster, two days before the squad are set to attend BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 Final. As revealed, Pavle "maden" Bošković will step in, while Linus "nilo" Bergman's debut for HEROIC will be delayed due to unexpected developments.

HEROIC have recently fought through the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 Closed Qualifiers, with wins against 3DMAX and Team Liquid, securing a spot at the $500,000 LAN finals.

However, the international lineup will not attend the final stage of the event with the same lineup that fought under the banner in the qualifiers.

On Monday, HEROIC confirmed that Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich will not be available due to visa issues. The 23-year-old will be replaced by Maden, who was listed as the team's substitute for the BLAST Bounty Finals.

The absence of the Belarus rifler will be felt in Copenhagen, as he was one of the key players in HEROIC's successful run through the qualifiers.

The ex-GUN5 ESPORTS player posted a 1.04 performance rating over the two series played and was the team's third-highest-rated player of the event.

His replacement, Maden, has not played an official match since he got benched from Team Falcons in November 2024, following an early elimination from Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A. During his stay at Falcons, Maden has averaged a 1.01 performance rating.

By replacing tN1R at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, Maden will reunite with his former ENCE teammate, Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia and head coach Eetu "sAw" Saha.

Besides announcing Maden as a stand-in, HEROIC also shared more information about Linus "nilo" Bergman.

The Swede was signed by HEROIC from Metizport earlier this month but has yet to play a match for his new team.
According to the announcement, nilo has recently encountered personal circumstances, which made his leap to Tier 1 Counter-Strike challenging at this time. The unfortunate situation came to light after the 20-year-old had already signed a three-year deal with HEROIC.

"While our initial plan was for Linus to be part of the starting lineup, we are committed to supporting him as he works toward his return," read the announcement.

Our starting five is locked in and will have the chance to prove themselves. Therefore, Linus will not have a guaranteed spot. He will have to fight his way back onto the team.

The roster situation does not help HEROIC's situation, as they enter BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 Final hoping to secure their first S-Tier trophy since BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023.
