The rematch is unlikely to end the same way. Cloud9 New York had a very tough start to the season when it seemed like nothing worked for them. Since then, C9NY have improved and ether this match in solid form, having shown good things against the RØKKR and LA Thieves in CDL 2025 Stage 2 Minor.
LA Guerrillas M8, on the other side, are 1-5 from their last six, and their only victory over that stretch came against the inconsistent Miami Heretics.
There is a world where Cloud9 New York turn into a pumpkin and lose, but they've looked way more disciplined lately, which convinces me they can deal with Guerrillas.

Cloud9 New York have been showing some improvement over the last couple of weeks. Despite a rough start to Stage 2, they picked up a few wins against Toronto Ultra (3-0), Vegas Falcons (3-0), Boston Breach (3-0), and Minnesota RØKKR (3-2).
At CDL 2025 Stage 2 Minor, C9NY did not find much success, but they had a tough draw, as they had to face LA Thieves in the second round and lost 1-3. That defeat, however, was inspiring, as Cloud9 New York showed some good things and could've forced map five.
As it seems, Cloud9 New York play with more discipline, and even though they have a long way to go to break into the elite few CDL teams, improvement is noticeable.

They're 1-5 from their last six games, which includes one victory against Miami Heretics (3-2) and losses against OpTic Texas (2-3), Boston Breach (2-3), Miami Heretics (0-3), Vancouver Surge (1-3), and Carolina Royal Ravens (0-3).
We've seen LAGM take some maps lately, as they tend to do well on Control (50% win rate). But their Hardpoint (43.8%) and Search & Destroy (35.7%) are not nearly as good, and until they improve on at least one game mode, it is hard to have much faith in the Guerrillas and their chances to find success.
