Cloud9 New York has looked much improved compared to what they showed earlier in the season. They're 3-1 this stage, and while they've not found much success at the Minor, C9NY deserve some slack as they had to play LA Thieves, who eliminated them with a 3-1 victory.

Even in that game, Cloud9 showed some things I liked, which indicates how much better this roster has become.

They are 52.4& on Hardpoint, 52.6% on Search & Destroy, and 53.8% on Control, which are all solid numbers. And based on their recent displays, things are only going to get better.

Carolina Royal Ravens have had their moments, but there are some concerns with this team, particularly in this series. The big worry is their poor map pool.

On S&D, Carolina Royal Ravens have a noticeably worse win rate on Hacienda, Protocol, and Skyline, and on Hardpoint they lack on Hacienda Skyline, and Vault. This should be a very interesting match between two teams who last met in January, when the Royal Ravens won (twice) but needed five maps to edge out a win on both occasions. A lot has changed since, but the most notable change is Cloud9 New York's improvement.

They've become more consistent and, overall, a better team. While they're still far from catching up to LA Thieves or FaZe, C9NY are on the right path and should present a more formidable challenge for the Royal Ravens.
