Both teams need to get going after a poor placement in the first Major of the season, and there is no clear line between the two. Boston Breach appear stronger on paper, but like the LA Guerrillas M8, they are not too efficient on Search & Destroy, nor are they good on Control.

This looks like it will be a closely contested game, so while it is hard to pick the better team, LA Guerrillas M8 are a more inviting bet at outsider odds.

Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 finished CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major in ninth-12th-place, which is not the result they were hoping to achieve, but it is not like they showed a lot in the qualifiers (ninth) or Minor 1 (ninth-12th) either.

In their sole match of Major 1, the Guerrillas lost to OpTic Texas on map five (2-3), marking thier fourth map-five loss of the year. This indicates that the Guerrillas really need to get better on Search & Destroy, although, they can carry their weight on respawns which is a positive thing.

Boston Breach ended their CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major campaign in the first round, with losses against Atlanta FaZe (0-3) and Cloud9 New York (2-3). The tournament showed Boston continue to struggle on Search & Destroy and their Control is not that good either.

On a more positive note, Breach are serviceable on Hardpoint, but that will not be enough to accomplish anything this season.

Boston Breach have been struggling a lot this season, mainly because they do not do well on either Search & Destroy or Control, and the same can be said for Los Angeles Guerrillas M8, who need to improve their S&D if they are serious about contesting top finishes.

While Boston Breach have had higher highs in CDL 2025 Stage 1 Major Qualifiers, that is not a good enough reason to take their side. This looks like a 50/50 match at best, but I am giving LAG a slight edge.
