Atlanta FaZe and Minnesota RØKKR will meet on Saturday, March 8, in the third week of Call of Duty League (CDL) 2025 Stage 2 Major qualifiers in what is expected to be a very one-sided game in favour of FaZe. However, Minnesota RØKKR have looked good enough to believe they will do some damage.

While FaZe are heavily favoured to win, Minnesota RØKKR are very capable of upsetting FaZe. They've been playing well recently and even played a very close five-map game against FaZe in January.

While Atlanta FaZe are unquestionably one of the best CDL teams, Minnesota RØKKR can be a feisty underdog and are worth a look to walk away with something at outsider odds.

Atlanta FaZe made a strong case for themselves as the best team in the CDL throughout the season. They won Minor and Major 1 and had a decent run in Minor 2 before getting eliminated by the high-flying Vancouver Surge.

That elimination should not be too worrying as FaZe remain a threat to win Major 2. On the other side, the Surge proved that FaZe can bleed against capable teams, and they're now up against another squad that can hold their own.

Statistically, FaZe are still the superior team, and no matter how you look at it, this is their game to lose. I, however, don't believe they'll walk away from this game unharmed.

Atlanta FaZe v Minnesota RØKKR

Atlanta FaZe have looked better this season and are statistically a better team. However, as proven in Minor 2 and earlier this stage, they're not invincible.

Minnesota RØKKR will have a mountain to climb on Saturday, and on paper, it seems like this should be an unwinnable match for them. While I do not believe RØKKR will upset, unless FaZe shoot themselves in the foot, the outsiders have looked stable enough of late to believe they can sneak in a couple of maps and make it interesting.
