Atlanta FaZe won the last two clashes with Boston Breach, and they look poised to win again this weekend. Despite their slump at CDL 2025 Stage 2 Minor, Atlanta FaZe remain one of the top teams in the league, whereas Boston Breach have recently been making a solid case for themselves as one of the bottom three.

Boston Breach looked surprisingly good at the start of the 2025 CoD esports season when they strung together three wins from the first four fixtures. But since then, they've cooled down and put together just one more notable victory – against Los Angeles Thieves (3-2) in the final round of Major 1 qualifiers.

Recently, things have turned sour for the Breach, who are 2-5 from the last seven. That stretch includes two victories against the league's worst teams, LA Guerrillas (3-2) and Vegas Falcons (3-1), and five losses against FaZe, Cloud9 New York (twice), Toronto Ultra, and Vancouver Surge.

Notably, Breach took at least one map in three of the five losses, so they have some fight in them. But that proves very little.

The question here is not so much who will win but rather how much damage Boston Breach can do. They are 0-2 down in the head-to-head against Atlanta FaZe, and they've not managed to pick up a single map across the two outings.

To me, this is a massive skill difference between the two teams, so unless if something goes terribly wrong, Atlanta FaZe should win. Neither of the last two meetings were close, and there is no reason to believe this will be any different.
