With their best player, Theo Maledon, sidelined, the burden fell on the veteran duo of Nando De Colo (13 points, 11 assists) and Joffrey Lauvergne (20 points, 9 rebounds). Both delivered performances at the upper limits of their abilities, but it wasn’t enough to avoid anything more than an honorable defeat.

According to some reports, Maledon could return to action on Thursday—ironically, against what are likely to be his future teammates.

Meanwhile, Shaq Harrison remains questionable due to an ankle injury, while it’s already known that Mbaye Ndiaye is out for the season after suffering a severe knee injury.
