Bayern vs Anadolu Efes Tips & Live Stream - The Score Surge in Munich

For a long time, many basketball analysts underestimated them, but it is now clear that Bayern are a serious team, especially on their home court, where they are capable of beating any rival. 

They proved this last week when they dismantled another strong team, Crvena zvezda, with a dominant 100-82 victory, even without one of their best players this season, Devin Booker.

In Booker’s absence, Carsen Edwards stepped up, delivering a fantastic performance with 30 points, while captain Vladimir Lucic had the game of the season, adding 18 points and 7 rebounds.

Bayern are an entirely different team at home compared to their performances on the road, where they average nearly 90 points per game.

Ahead of this matchup, Bayern suffered a defeat in the domestic league against Bamberg, but it seemed like a tactical decision by coach Herbert, who rested several key players for the EuroLeague stretch.

Besides Booker, Bayern will also be without Oscar da Silva for the next few weeks due to a knee surgery.

Anadolu Efes have managed to keep their top 10 hopes alive with two consecutive wins, but they’re still in a tough spot. Overall, it’s been a disappointing season for them, and even the coaching change hasn’t delivered the results Efes were hoping for.

After beating Alba, they followed up with a convincing 89-68 win over Virtus Bologna. Elijah Bryant once again stepped up, leading the team with 21 points and confirming his role as the standout player for Efes this season. 

Vincent Poirier supported with a strong double-double, adding 18 points and 13 rebounds. Shane Larkin played solidly (12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists), but he’s still not quite at the level he was last season when he was dominating across Europe.

In other news, Anadolu Efes are reportedly interested in bringing in Serbian coach Igor Kokoškov, who has NBA experience, for next season. 

It remains to be seen whether that will happen this summer. For now, all players are healthy and ready to compete in Munich.
