New Zealand vs Pakistan 3rd T20 Preview & Tips
New Zealand were far too good for Pakistan in their second T20 as they secured a comfortable five-wicket win over the tourists.

- New Zealand Form
- Pakistan Form
Pakistan were better in game two, but they were still nowhere near good enough as they slipped closer to losing their five-match T20 series against the Black Caps.
- New Zealand have won five of their last six T20 matches
- Pakistan have lost their last five 20 over games
- Tim Seifert has top scored for New Zealand in their last two against Pakistan
Head To Head
The Black Caps have won seven of their last 10 against Pakistan, with the latter securing three wins in this time.
New Zealand Form
This New Zealand side looks to be building a very strong team of late, with their batting and bowling lineup firing the nation to consecutive wins over Pakistan.
It is worth bearing in mind that Pakistan are not particularly strong at the moment, but they are generally good enough to give the opposition a game in most cases. However, wins by nine wickets and five wickets help to display how far ahead of the tourists the home side are.
Five wins in their last six T20's is a decent run, and with it possible to wrap up the series in game three, New Zealand will not want to take their foot off the accelerator. Tim Seifert has been excellent of late, scoring 44 and 45 as he has top-scored twice for the Black Caps. With Pakistan's bowling attack struggling for wickets, I am backing the opener to once again top score for his side.
Pakistan Form
Pakistan have twice failed to really get going with the bat, with the tourists twice heading into set a score and twice losing.
Their woeful score of 91 in 18.4 overs in game one was followed by a better performance in game two. However, New Zealand's batting lineup has looked strong, and while 136 to win in 15 overs would test a number of other sides, Pakistan could not defend their total against the home team.
While the series is still alive, it would take something extraordinary for the tourists to make a contest of it. I am backing Pakistan to slip to another loss as they go 3-0 down in the series, with serious questions once again asked of their batting lineup.
Verdict
I am backing New Zealand to move into a 3-0 lead in the series as Tim Seifert continues to dominate the Pakistan bowling attack.
